Tuesday [1]

Past midnight. Shall run MftWC starting 1000 this morning.  What follows here are late Monday snippet(s). Actually trying to get some kip, can't, shall post this and get some kip.

a.  Tweeter Jellenne:

I'm really a bit amazed by how many "conservatives" actually don't know the real (aka non-media) story about that entire case of Stormy D. She alleged there was an affair during the 2016 campaign, which she later admitted was a lie under oath during the defamation lawsuit while rep'd by jailbird Avenatti. She lost the lawsuit and owes DJT $300K for legal fees.
Michael Cohen, one of Trump's attorneys, pled guilty to several counts of tax fraud, and agreed to pled guilty to alleged crimes of campaign finance and lying to Congress (Mueller) in an effort to get leniency in his sentencing. It was all a LIE. So Today, when RDS snarks about "not knowing anything about paying a Porn Star"...it doesn't matter that he used the word "alleged". He fed the media their own lies, for their own use against his opponent. Oh, and spare me the "he hasn't announced yet" BS.

b. Tree-felling barbarism, whoever's fault it is

c. Evil at work through banality:

d. Why is govt doing this? Any acceptable answer?

e. Over my head:

f. Over my head:

g. Noddy, Big Ears and Little Black Sambo:

H/T Croydon Constitutionalist there. My mother knitted me a gollywog in my childhood, wonder why. There was nothing nasty about it, it had a nice smile. They always seemed benign characters at the time, unlike in this picture here.

h. Today. Delightful:

  1. f) Over my head. Mine too.
ESG = Emergency Service Grant. Eh?
And Vivek complains about being opaque.

  2. ESG = Environment, Social and Governance. Clear as filthy glass. :)

Without looking further it has the smell of a scam around it. The first word is a give-away imo.

    Further looking:

"ESG stands for environmental, social and governance. These are called pillars in ESG frameworks and represent the 3 main topic areas that companies are expected to report in. The goal of ESG is to capture all the non-financial risks and opportunities inherent to a company's day to day activities."

In plain speak - green bollox.
