Wednesday [1]

Still dark.

At the risk of digressing before I’ve even ‘gressed’ in the first place, last night I mentioned Australian issues coming to the fore … and lo and behold, today the Daily Sceptic has:

On October 11th a Bill is to be presented to the Queensland Parliament which would impose draconian limits on what doctors can say to their patients. If passed, doctors will no longer be able to express their opinion or use their experience, training and education, if that opinion goes against what the Government health bureaucrats determine to be in the general interests of the public.

Interesting to me, as well as horrifying, I was looking up the Oz PM whom I don’t even know, let alone the Governor General.  Seems they put some woman in, not unlike with Ardern, who already had form with bad decisions:

Bryce was appointed Governor of Queensland in 2003. Although concerns were raised by some over her time in the office, her five-year term was going to be extended until 2009. However, on 13 April 2008, it was announced by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd that Bryce was to become the next Governor-General of Australia. The decision was generally well-received [Wikispeak for bleedin’ disaster] and on 5 September 2008 Bryce was sworn in, succeeding Major General Michael Jeffery and becoming the first woman to hold the office.[4] Bryce's tenure was not without criticism.[5]In an unprecedented move for an incumbent governor-general, Bryce made public comments in November 2013 widely interpreted as supporting an Australian republic and same-sex marriage.[6] She was succeeded by General Sir Peter Cosgrove as governor-general on 28 March 2014.[7]

Not fit for purpose, riigghhtt.

Currently, I’m up to the former Uniparty (pretend rightwing) PM Scott Morrison and he’s a puzzle. The leftwing Wikipedia presents him as rightwing but were he in the US, he’d be called a Globo RINO.

In mid-February 2021, Morrison defended the Australian policy of revoking Australian citizenship for dual nationals engaged in terrorism. The previous year, the Australian government had revoked the citizenship of dual Australian–New Zealand citizen Suhayra Aden, who had become an ISIS  bride. New Zealand Prime Minister Ardern had criticised the decision, accusing Australia of abandoning its citizens.[185][186] Following a phone conversation, the two leaders agreed to work together in the "spirit of the Australian-New Zealand relationship" to address what Ardern described as "quite a complex legal situation."[187]

Nothing ‘complex’ about it at all but I’m digressing no further.  I don’t wish to address any of that this morning, but rather the Oz PM’s antecedents which, to be fair, were not exactly his fault.  Seems his mother was a typical western woman, (of Irish extraction) … typical western in that she’s easily led astray by smoothtalking Latins or hunky, violent black men and sure enough, she took a cruise, had it away with an Italian steward who ended it by cruise end, little Alby was born and lo and behold … instant single mother family.

With no proper job at any time, naturally he became a communist, in line with Corbyn, Starmer, Ardern, Johnson, Soy Boy, Micron … the list goes on and on. Ardern:

In 2008, Ardern was elected president of the International Union of Socialist Youth

Well of course.  Any relationship with Cortez, apart from in the teeth department?  The ‘gressing’ I was trying to do before digressing was to write about single motherhood as a really awful start to life for any child if the father is nowhere to be seen and eventually, when that lawless boy grows up in the way he has no choice but to … then he becomes PM of the country.  Right, got it.

Which ties in with something Toodles sent about mini-tramp druggy Panettiere in the States and the father in the Ukraine with some sort of custody.  But now I trigress.

Which leads straight into DAD’s Wed 2a, coming up next.  I swear I had not seen it before completing this post now.
