#  Missed the comments, chaps and chapesses, due to a bad case of falling asleep.  Zonked some hours back, out like a light.  Interesting comments in the main.  This one struck a chord:

The pantomime of airport security has little to do with keeping travelers safe. Take the profiling issue. Or more correctly, the lack of same. Everybody is subjected to the same checks, a wild-eyed young bearded Afghan getting the same treatment as that of a Swedish grandmother. And very often the checker is from a terrorist demographic as this photo underlines, giving us an inverted system where the people most likely to be terrorists are groping and harassing those least likely to be.

That may be but the smugglers do seem to choose their mules from the less likely, the more innocuous. I wrote it into Masquerade Ch 1 all those years ago.

#  Friday already?  Where does it go?  I always thought old age would be the slow progression of debilitating conditions but it seems to be rushing headlong towards the grave.  Very grave.

#  Adelaide's a strange sort of place, with strange sorts of people such as the Cornes family.  Yet  Adelaide's hills are impressive ... quite a buxom wench with spectacular views, and the approach roads from Victoria are a nice drive. The Grampians are over that way too, the Barossa Valley, scene of my courting of WN1, herself from a strange place ... rural Queensland. Pie floater from there, eh?  Figures.

Idaho use to be a very conservative state. I know folks who moved there to get away from Louisiana because it was becoming...well what it has become and then some. Since our friends moved twenty something years ago there, so have the Californicators been migrating there - aplenty! So the Toy Scouts are definitely making an impact in I da ho'. [Yes U R!] They are not gay in the true sense of the word. Nor do they have pride, otherwise they would not behave like that. The 'loathsome behaviour market' is not cornered by those gay paraders.

Let me just say, that in many a way, our Toodles is a most perceptive lady.
