Wimmin from all walks #198

What I'm trying to do is not eliminate the risque altogether but blend in occupations, bikes, guns, weird things, various ages above around 23, both mine and from the contributors - for me, the third here is rather nice.

There's probably some debate somewhere between an artist and a churchman, beauty vs lust, an interesting line to draw.  I'm interested in the whole package, not some bits, also some dynamism and dynamic in the shot.  One or two chaps agreed, preferring gal to actually be riding the bike, not statically posing.

This is where the male and female might differ.  The female often likes the statically posed because she can arrange all the elements into place ... but we'd rather see her in action, hair flying, how she handles it - her character then comes through.

The most difficult decision I had to make was not running a shot, part of a set, where a naked lass stood in a street, taking pictures of all those gawking and slavering over her.  It may have had feminist overtones but it was most interesting - it was from behind so it didn't show much - and the looks on the faces were something to behold.  She herself was a goodly shape, nothing there.

Reason I didn't was primarily Ggl - they and WP require the blogger to identify if running Theo type things.  This blog also appeals to those of the faith and it was pushing it.  What finally decided it was she may been too young, who knew from behind?

Which then gets to the nannying question - every reader here is well able to decide, himself or herself, what to view and what not to, doesn't require me.  That's not really the point - the point was I'm representing the blog as a product - there are things it's about, things its not.

There's really no hard and fast rule, but it should be artistically good.  That one of the railway track - yep, it was out of proportion, that one MD and I saw that had been photoshopped to hell ... well that could not be either.

Here endeth the mini-essay.

  1. The way a girl sits speaks volumes. Compare the girls in the first image to the ones in the last one.
