National cuisine - nation please:
  1. Banitsa - whisked eggs, pieces of cheese and filo
  2. Plov - rice and lamb dish
  3. Pie floater - meat pie swimming in pea soup
  4. Frikadeller - flat meat patties, mince, chopped onions
  5. Nasi Goreng - fried rice, shrimp, shallots, soy sauce
  6. Stamppot - mash, sauerkraut, endive, kale, turnips etc.
  7. Rouladen - top round roast, garnish

  2. Good so far. 2 simply uzes with goodness, 4 is not Lurpak, 6 is probably eaten by Geert, 7 is closer to France than to us.

  6. The Pie Floater. Yum. I know the answer is sort of already given - Aus.
    But to be precise, Adelaide, just outside the North Terrace main line railway station.
    At least until a snobby administration in cahoots with the Casino decreed that such plebby pleasures were not appropriate for an aspiring world class capital.
