That was how they were envisaged back in January of 2020. Speed would preclude the normal development undertaken by vaccines and that is why this new technology was chosen because the science behind it was well advanced. Where it falls down is the effect it has on people with healthy immune systems; for some reason they decided everyone should be jabbed, multiple times. Go figure.

According to Oliver Véran, guest of France Info, "between 500,000 and 700,000 health passes" could be deactivated from this Saturday, January 15, for lack of a booster dose.
Because this Saturday comes into force the new rules of the health pass and the time limit for the booster dose imposed on all adults. This is why some passes will no longer be valid from January 15, 2022 and will therefore be automatically deactivated.
As of last night only 43% have had the booster and so are 'safe'.

I tried to find out more details, but it went into a circles with “Anne” at the centre.
I think that some of the comments on ns217 site are where people are confused between Assurance Santé (a health assurance) and Assurance Vie (a savings account). This report concerns the latter.
With Assurance Vie, as I understand it, when one has reached 70 years there are special rules when one can, on death, leave some of the savings to grandchildren. I presume the exact situation for this Grandfather were specified when he took out the savings account (i.e. Assurance Vie); different Banks have different rules.
I hope that this helps to clarify things.
