My local rag, the Herts Advertiser cam today. It's full of the usual guff, my first port of call is the letters to the editor spread. There's often something to tickle me. This week's offering had me in stitches. A woman writes to complain about the outdated traditions on our charter market. A fruit and veg stallholder shouted out "self service here, fill your bags ladies". Woman and her daughter complained, didn't like reply, walked off. Presumably to seek offence elsewhere. Never a dull moment in the boonies.
