Adam quotes Vox via some other guy, a fine thing to do, that we're not unvaxxed, we're purebloods. Good line, now in the repertoire.
However, that's not totally so in my case. :) I'm a Tyke/Irish crossbreed with heart meds in the blood. I've wondered, this past year and a bit, just how far those meds have affected it. And speaking of meds, in the mornings I lay my daily meds out on a special tea towel [deepest, darkest secrets here] and so the day goes on.
However, in the late evening, what happens determines how I zonked. If, next morning, the last meds are gone, then I probably closed the shop in an orderly manner, said nigh nigh and all is well. If, however, those two meds are still sitting there, then clearly I zonked in a most ungainly fashion, lights on through the place, things not put away.
That's what I found this morning. Juss thought you were all desperate to know that this Monday morn.

This is of a piece with the Government’s decision to push ahead with its roll-out despite being told by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) that “there is considerable uncertainty regarding the magnitude of the potential harms” of Covid vaccination in healthy teenagers and that – given the small risk Covid poses to healthy 12-15 year-olds – the “margin of benefit… is considered too small”.Without words here about this strike at the heart of families.

I replied that it's a BB parody video. This is Apple's promo:
Am I therefore an Apple fanboi? With two ipads, you'd say so and thus I wonder if any reader will see I'm more an N.O. fanboi, in the sense of saying we need to be accurate.
My beef with attacks on Apple is just that - it does our cause no good to adopt he same tactics as the enemy. For example, we can criticise the Jobs era versus post-Jobs and there are numerous criticisms of the direction, not least my criticism over the latest promo - it's all black or Chinese as good people, with whites as crims or irrelevant.
That can be concluded from the characters in the promo. Or to be even more accurate - anti-indigenous, given that this was an English language promo for English language countries. Which are still majority native. Just.
Apple might argue that it was one promo fits all. As a former voice over man in Russia, I know how we're dubbed in. It's a method. They did it with Macarena too in the 90s.
But that's to flatly deny and defy sensitivities and recognise the Apple products market in English speaking countries. Are they too cheap to make promos tailored for the country? Also, do you remember the Jobs era promos with the grey automatons seated in a large hall?
That's all gone now. So yes, if I look at their promo and my majority demographic is airbrushed out, it does make me think twice. Do I throw both the pads on a bonfire? At that price? On my means? My laptop is playing up and I'm seriously looking at Ubuntu there. So there are realities.
Clearly, if the BB parody did become a reality, then I'd have to ditch Apple for any further devices. Do Apple wish to lose that demographic entirely?
Purebloods sounds a bit Harry Potterish to me. Along with PBs though goes Pro Natural Immunity which is a lot more positive than anti-vaxxer. So PNI it is fro me from now on!
