That difficult decision

It never got to that point where my better half and I grew old together disgracefully, that point where we no longer had to worry about precautions.  Must be a nice time for both people - now they can just go for it hell for leather, with impunity.

A certain lady has sent an article on a related issue which it seems is not good:

There's a technical problem with that site by the way, hence I had to screen shoot part of what was not covered over by the cookies pop-up.

The obvious thought on the issue, in the light of all the other rubbish things the medical world, the companies, are up to these days is that one can’t help wondering about agenda.  Not vehemently as yet but … well, you know.

My lady friend wrote:

There’s a news article about birth control devices that are causing havoc in the bodies of women. It is the IUD. It is breaking off in their bodies and one of its  little arms floats around in their body...that area I assume. Not good at all. 

So pharma has developed a bad thing like the handy dandy implanted IUD ... a contraception device... and many women are suffering. As far as I can tell, part of the issue is they had not been told of the risk ... or if they had, then it did not register. 

It could be that thing with people that ... until it happens to them or to someone close to them, most people take no notice or concern. 

Another thing is that people draw no conclusions. For example if Pharma does this knowingly or unknowingly, that it is creating something potentially devastating to future reproduction in a woman and possibly other health and safety issues that could arise ... well how can people so blindly trust something else too like the covid vaxx?

Indeed but my immediate thought was that there is such a massed plethora of sleep around girls today, worldwide and how many were well advised, plus a matching number of boys, let alone 'partners' with no binding arrangement, then no wonder there are issues and not just with that - with STDs too.

If the lady is where she should be - and it's a pretty simple rule - she will only go that final step with her husband - that's half the battle.  Because chances are her mother will also be in the vicinity, plus stable things like marriages bring everyone else in too offering advice.  

If she's a one night stander, she takes her chances and so do the men.

The reason I say that is that I was dead against IUDs in the first place. Look, the male does not want to wear those rubber things and in my limited experience, nor does she want that - it kills the whole point of it, nor would I have a vasectomy, ever, nor is rhythm more than Russian roulette, ditto with interruptus, nor am I happy with a time when it gets yukky ... so what's left?  I don't think he can ask for either the pill for her, or an IUD, nor can she ask for him to get the snip.  And as for serial PP following each conception - forget it.

There is one other way but that can't be forever, it's more a preliminary, no?

With WN1, she was on the pill, WN2 was too, a couple of silly adventures at other times between marriages, though I had no clue and she never asked - risky.  By and large though, I adopted a policy of dalliance up to that point and that did not go down well with certain females who felt jilted, don't think any female would ever believe a male seriously meant no, even stated up front, which simply confirms what I said that it should be your wife only so these things can be sorted well ahead of time. Yes I did carry a pack but I didn't have to like that.

I don't know the solution - half the year on the pill, the other half using rubber?  And rhythm is so prescriptive and calculating.  And by the way, both WN1 and WN2 miscalculated - what were the chances of that?  Both supposedly intelligent.  Which brings in that other issue, does it not?

But of all of the solutions, the one I think is sheer craziness is the IUD,  No doubt there are ways I've not thought of which weren't around decades ago, day-afters and all that, gels.  All I know is that when each of those two, respectively, had that miscalculating moment, the punishment was pretty well instant.
