In the rare occasions I must appear in court I always (ALWAYS ALWAYS) show up in suit and tie. Where's the defendant! I am he, sir/ma'am. Case dismissed! People in the hallway waiting to be called ask me for advice, thinking I'm an attorney. This is a court of law, not a court of basketball. Dress appropriately.
I wonder if future historians will refer to this era as The Age of Uglyfication.
