Seems to me the fibbies (or fibbers?) are well named.

4.  The minefield of trolling

One thing we can be sure of, apart from death and taxes, is that the side speaking out against the orthodoxy is going to be trolled in a multi-pronged way.  And this  can be addressed by an Australian term "come in, spinner"
The [term is] a phrase used in the Australian gambling game of two-up. "Come in spinner" is the call given by the game manager when all bets are placed and the coins are ready to be tossed.
The way it's used is that the person himself has been used - the bets are in, can't be changed, those conned have been conned. 'Come in, spinner' means welcome to the trap, referring to an uncritical punter.

Illustrating that principle, I was sent the screenshot below, purporting to be Klaus Schwab's words from his book:

But I suspect they may have been from this:

... which is a commentary on Schwab and his quotes.  Thus you need to be ultra-careful, which the person putting this up on social media was not, which is being more than naughty:

The way it was presented was with a gung-ho statement, drawing in Schwab, then showing a page from a book with neither title nor page number, no sheeting it home directly to Schwab's co-authored book.

My immediate thought was Protocols of the Elders of Zion.  Also things attributed to Churchill when he was referring to a different group to that the quote was being used for.

I wrote recently of the three iterations of this blog - the early material on this site, the WPdotorg days, then the return here in in Jan, 2021.

One dismissal of this blog was sent by an academic who said the blog was sending him to either dead or spurious links, that my claims were nutty anyway.  He purported to have given this blog a "fair chance" but now he was going.

This blog has been going for 15 years and in that time, obviously the trolling is found earlier now, the carelessness of the over-eager.  In the early days, it was certainly found after criticism from readers pointed out that this quote was iffy or that one ... it took time because someone needed to point it out, the adjustment was thereafter made, the sheer number of links was beyond.

One bone of contention was the bona fides of the source.  For example, if I quoted the Schiller Institute's LaRouche, then anyone not liking LaRouche was going to insta-dismiss, just as he would anything from Project Veritas, anything from Colin Ross, anything from GH Estabrooks.  I've seen LaRouche's history, quite a mixed bag, and yet his championing of Kepler over Galileo has much to support it.

Thus we reach a point that if a troll tries to quote Snopes at me or Mad Cow on MSNBC or Politico, I'll not even bother and if I quote what we have up here, he won't bother.  There it is - two camps.  One of those camps is lying through its teeth when it suits, or else bloodymindedly three wise monkeys, never altering the narrative ... the other is finding, posting, revising, as and when material comes in, never knowingly lying, sometimes in error and correcting that.

At any time, the overenthusiastic can stumble upon trolling traps, ambushes, such as Soetoro's birth certificate, when the real cover-up was college records and that type of thing.

Which simply means, as mentioned many times, that our side must be ultra-careful.  Why not the other side?  Because no one's trolling them. We're all too busy finding out and posting.

  3. "Four British men have developed a crippling disease days after having the AstraZeneca jab, scientists revealed.

Guillain-Barre Syndrome is a potentially life-threatening condition in which the body's immune system breaks down.

The patients, all men, were struck down in Nottingham where around 700,000 people received the vaccine."

    1. "The complication — normally triggered by an infection — usually occurs in around one in 100,000 people in the UK and US.

      What is Guillain-Barré syndrome?
Guillain–Barré syndrome is a rare disorder in which the immune system goes into overdrive and the body attack its own nerves.

Common symptoms of the rare condition include weakness and tingling in the limbs.

As patients' conditions worsen, this can lead to parts of the body — or in some cases the whole body — being paralysed.

The syndrome is rare, affecting about one in 100,000 annually in the UK and US.

Fewer than 20,000 cases are diagnosed per year in the US, according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.

Doctors say it is often triggered by a viral or bacterial illness, such as Campylobacter jejuni.

There is no cure. Treatment focuses on restoring the nervous system.

It can be fatal if it involves the respiratory muscles.

But doctors in India who also uncovered the link say it was occurring up to 10 times more than expected.

One of the articles published in the journal broke down the cases spotted in Nottingham, which all occurred within ten days of each other.

Symptoms began 11 to 22 days after the first jab and all of the four men were aged between 20 and 57."

  5. Re #6b - A voting machine was found to contain a "Piggy-Back" circuit board & SIM card, so it's debatable whether getting hold of landline/cable routers will find anything incriminating. If the bastards were THAT determined to fiddle the results, I'm sure they would have done all the dodgy work via those "Back Doors"...
