17.  This is for those not in the know

Those in the know already know.  It's about Feedburner. If you scroll down in the sidebar to where it says Follow by Email, it seems a useful service ... on most blogs ... but maybe not on this one.

Again for those who might not know, many blogs used to put out a specific url called a blog feed and if you ran something called a Reader on your computer, you'd enter it in the box and there were your personal feeds of your fave bloggers' latest posts, plus others.  This was superceded by just subscribing in the sidebar or via a button.

There are two things you can be fed - one is latest posts and the other - latest comments.  As far as I know, there's no comments-subscribe here, notifying you of any replies to your last comment.  There is a now moribund Feedburner managed post feed to your email if you subscribed some time back.  

Google inform that in July, it will die.  It already takes no new subscribers, so it should not be there.  I'll remove it.

That's good business to email me - generic I know but still, she's the only one who has.  And if I were to use it, then I'd go premium because I'd only offer the service for readers' comfort.

Yet there are things about the whole idea of post feed which I do not like, the main one being that your email, if you subscribe, is then known.  The whole idea here at N.O. was anonymity for trusted commenters, as long as you include a moniker of some kind at the start.  i also treat moderation of regulars as a 'click-through' as they know.

There's also the latest comments gadget in the sidebar - you'd not know who'd said what with a feed.  I'm not sure about using it.

What I would like to know is what you would like to see offered, within Blogger's standard constraints.

But here's the good news... David is fighting back.

 

In fact, he's taking another opportunity to drag more of Planned Parenthood's dark criminality into the spotlight with two new federal lawsuits.

 

That's right. The Thomas More Society has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit in California on behalf of David against former California Attorney General and now Vice­President Kamala Harris for prosecuting David in bad faith, twisting and perverting California's anti-eavesdropping law to persecute a citizen journalist because of his political views.
