Friday [6 to 9]

9.  This one peeved me beyond measure

Why peeved?  After all, the Cats had just had a "heartstopping" win over top three team Western Bulldogs above them on the ladder and just up the road, geographically - so a derby in other words.  Last week Cats were in Adelaide. What I had not realised was where each was placed - they've just bumped off two genuine premiership contenders one week after the other.

Which confirms my suspicion that the Cats are a stupid team. They knock over top of the table teams, then fall to lesser-rans.  However, I'm not following 'em, am I, as they're knee-bendingly Woke.

Actually, I don't know that - I've not seen them doing it but the whole club culture has gone Woke.  It's sickening.

Not as sickening though as something else I saw on the Herald Sun front page. Now, I need to explain this for those not au fait with downunder.  It was known as the Herald Sun News Pictorial, a tabloid, and while it was not like The Sun here or Star, in that it did not have page three "girls", it was still the rightwing "go to" rag.  The other side who congratulated themselves on being so intellectual read The Age, a broadsheet.

Now this is an interesting thing - over here, the Guardian and others are fairly humourless but well presented rags and they do not have sleazy articles and pics on the front page.  Yet go to the Mail or Sun and it is sleaze plus - are rightwingers sleazy people?  Coz we've been saying the left are, haven't we?

But this particular screenshot took the biscuit. I have to consider how puritanical I am or how puritanical the left.  Because the sleazy left, from Norton to that one dressing as a woman acts in a trashy way on TV, which we do not, not publicly anyway.  Is the left more honest than we are?  Are luvvies honest about it?

What I strongly object to is that some Gen X or Millennial editor and sub-editor saw fit to run that "Toorak" article - completely unnecessary to run on a front page with kids looking at this rag.

But it's worse than this. I would bet good money that some readers would look at that headline and excerpt and ask, "And what?  Every one knows those things."

Yes they do because sleazy teachers in schools think it's way cool to teach kids all those things and I for one do not buy it.

And this is where I start to sound like Mary Whitehouse I'm afraid. There is no good reason to put trash like that on the front page of a so-called respected national daily. It's "can't be unseen stuff".   I bet there are those not buying what I'm saying here, so I'll repeat it - "respected national daily".  Public journal which could go into a library of congress if Oz had one, which I'm not sure they do.

Or as our Julia once said, "Get a room, would you?"

I far prefer her reaction to mine as she's not as far down the "public morality path" as I am - not in that particular way.  I'm going to say again that when such an item is deemed fine for everyone from grandparents to kiddies, it's not unlike a Hirst statue of a pregnant teen in a prominent public place.  Yeah, very clever, Hirst, doing no more than reflecting "society" as it is now.

Which shows a complete loss of plot, as that's not the point - the statue itself, it's all right within a gallery somwhere, for a certain type of adult.  The issue is it's forcing the public to have to see it every day.  And a leftist would say yes, yes, we do have to force you to see it. And is that not what we're dead against here, readers - being forced to do things and confront things which we should not have to?  Effing well just leave us to get on with our lives without your sleaze every few minutes.  I find it nauseating enough as it is seeing Dianne Abbott for example, or the poisoned dwarf.

And don't even try the old chestnut on about "lighten up, James" or "a bit overdramatic, aren't we".  Nope, it's not overdramatic in the least - it's a telltale sign we're not far from Sodom and Gomorrah in real terms and I do not say that in a religious way but in a way indicating the end of that city state is nigh.  In this case, the end of western civilisation is most certainly nigh.

And one does not have to look far at all the things on these pages at N.O. to see telltale signs of the end of this civilisation - just see the pizzagate post. Nobility there?  Useless dirtbag as vice-president?

Good people,  once behaviours which are known but at least kept between adults become public space, then the next step is adult with kid and look at Rotherham and the orphanages - look at Jersey.  Once that line is crossed where people openly start the smut talk in public space, that's a surefire sign where that civilisation is at.

All that over one news item?  Yes, all that over one news item!

Do you not get it yet?  There was no one left around with certain values, no one who could have told that editor that that was not on.  The dismaying thing is that there was no one still left, not one person, to tell that leftist junior staff that it was simply not on, it had crossed a line.

As for the other one - thousands flock to regions - well of course that will happen.  But why did they not do so last week?  Why the headline today?

Answer is everyone was too cowardly to go and do as they wished, govt had told them not to be naughty boys and girls.  And of course - in this respect, not in the Toorak respect - they all dutifully obeyed this Covid c**p, didn't they?  Grrrrrr!

There is a global awakening to the tyranny of the progressive Left.
We are no longer being fooled by career politicians like Trudeau, Macron and Joe Biden.
We are awake to China.
We are awake to the Marxist agenda. We are awake to the evil plan to overtake Western civilization.

The sbnpnews link does not work.

7.  Magnifisupper to the palate, not the blog

Classic case of the screenshot in the fading light, plus loading the goodies onto the plate instead of the French way - duxelles of this and that - well it does not look as it tasted.  That was a "wet cook" in butter with herbs and pepper.

Confession time.  I wanted to do grated carrot in honey.  Now, one does not have that with cod and tatties, so I convinced myself I could hide it behind, eat the supper, then have that as dessert.

Well, sort of ...

Obvious question - what do you have on the plate this evening?  Something pretty devastating I imagine.

6.  That crazy little thing called age

Oh my goodness, I just awoke and I don't mean politically, now three hours or more behind the day's plan.  All explained soon, plus I have so much to post, just have to do it - some needs transferring from t'other device.

Evening plans changed - this post first, music later.
