Wednesday [12 to 18]

18.  Just one more for this evening

The theme today here could be Russia or it could be me quite confused or maybe it is about everyone being confounded and confused and there's another case of it at Gab.

As far as I can see, Gab is for dissident right/MAGA/ anti-woke.  As far as I can see, that's the position here at N.O. as well.

All right, Donald Trump came out, at his online bunker, and wrote:
Liz Cheney is a warmongering fool who has no business in Republican Party Leadership. We want leaders who believe in the Make America Great Again movement, and prioritize the values of America First. Elise Stefanik is a far superior choice, and she has my COMPLETE and TOTAL endorsement for GOP Conference Chair. Elise is a tough and smart communicator!
All right, fine, I don't know this Elise Stefanik from Eve but I'm assuming, if endorsed by the Donald, then she is for the MAGA platform, which includes the Wall and other bits and pieces. Reasonable assumption?

Yet commenters wrote:
#  Oh good grief! Elise Stefanik Is NOT a conservative. Why do you keep endorsing left of center Republicans? The GOP is a confused mess and this doesn’t help.
That seems a MAGA person.
#  When will Trump speak to the fact that he is PROUD of poisoning through his constant uplifting and promotion of the supposed "vaccines" which have been proven to not be vaccines.

That sounds like a NeverTrumper or DemRat, and yet the point over vaccines, given DJT went the HCQ/zinc route himself, is puzzling.
#  Yeahhh, a great communicator? Perhaps!  Her voting record??   Pretty much a Great Democrat as well!   Stefanik voted against the border wall multiple times!   Voted for amnesty, etc. etc.
And:
#  President Trump is not good at endorsing candidates.
And:
#  Why did you leave us with Chris Wray?
And:
#  I wish you'd fire Pascale and Kushner, they're giving you very bad advice. You can hire better.
Now if you look hard at those, only one seemed a NeverTrumper/DemRat, the rest spoke in a way which suggests they're like us at this site - largely for MAGA and for each of our countries.  They are pointing out some confusing choices.

All right, let's say DJT's making bad choices.  Reason?  Possibly age?  Senility?  More likely in my eyes are his gatekeepers. Remember that Byrne who got into a meeting and named people surrounding DJT who were totally out of order?  There's McCarthy too, there are many who have DJT's ear and we all know out here they're wrong-uns.

Javanka is another problem.  To my mind, these are the problem - the ones who are able to convince him, through their rhetoric, that they are pro-MAGA.  Whatever it is, it's not right, too many discordant notes.

IMHO, we have to stop cutting these people slack, coming out with Q reasons why DJT's 'strategically' gone against MAGA temporarily, because he is leading them all into a MAGA trap.  That one is wearing quite thin now.

By all means disagree with this in 18.

17.  Windham

Steve, in item 4a below [start of the day] put in different footage of a series of meetings and I've just watched all the footage, plus read the Gateway Pundit write ups ... and am still confused.

I thought Gateway was pro-MAGA and yet they wrote this:
Windham, NH tonight held a Town Meeting to deal with MAGA citizens’ demands for a Maricopa-style ‘forensic audit’ of their ballots. As a councilman tries to reason with them, they stand and turn their backs on them and chant, “stop the steal.”
The key part there is "tried to reason", meaning the councilman is seen as the reasonable one and they, MAGA, are not.  Yet on another page, they say:
HUNDREDS of local citizens turned out to the Windham, New Hampshire City Meeting tonight at the city hall.

The city leaders or “selectmen” moved the meeting back to the smaller venue at the city hall sometime today.

That suggests the MAGA people are the ones in the right for protesting, a quite different position.  Our position here would be that the MAGA people are the ones to trust.  On that basis, the story is that there was something the board did wrong [not specified - really poor journalism by GP and Rumble] but the residents [not the high school parents as such, but local residents] did not like the sleight of hand of the board.

The meeting, as far as I can see, was originally being held in the auditorium of the high school about MAGA concerns.  Check.  The board then tried to pull rank and shut the residents down by walking out and reconvening in a small room.  But some MAGA residents got into the meeting and did similar to earlier.  The board walked out again.

The board spokespeople at various stages tried on the gambit that if the residents were all shouting, then nothing could get done and they were therefore being shameful, which I think is why GP perhaps said, 'Outrageous.'

But what was outrageous?  Was it the way the board acted or the way the residents acted?  It's not made clear, which is why it's poor journalism.

Let's assume that GP meant the board was outrageous - that makes sense. So what did the MAGA residents achieve?  Well, for a start, they stopped the board waving through their piece of legerdemain, whatever it was.

The board may have then gone behind closed doors somewhere and waved it through and when taken to task for secretly waving it through, they could blame the unruly residents.  Clearly, though the residents were the animated ones, it was the 'respectable' board who were the crooks here.  Yet they come over as the 'reasonable', which of course they're not.

If that is the correct reading of it, then that board, just as with SCOTUS and all the other DemRat and RINO institutions across the country, are equally as suspect. America is in a bad way.  And as for us?

It further reinforces the total chasm between patriotic people on the one hand and the DemRat/RINO/Cabal alliance, inc left 'liberals' and all the other designations on the Woke side. Trouble is, one cannot tell until the person opens his or her mouth or votes.

That's happened to me a few times in the past months where we greet as the same people, same ethnicity, same look, same language but ... the moment one opens up on today's issues, clearly the two people are enemies now.

And that is sad.

15.  A shopping trip

Curious situation. A couple of days ago, I went to get some foodstuffs, entered the shop and the man on the till was masked.  As mentioned before, I wear the triangular cloth around the neck to pull up if necessary - it doubles as neck protection in the cold.  Everyone coming into that shop and already there was  masked.  I made a disparaging remark to myself about how stoopid it was - a loud mutter to myself -  how people were sheep to follow the govt's insanity - but no one engaged.  But it was clear I was the odd one out, so I covered the mouth but not nose. At the till, I did cover the nose for the seconds it took.

Today, it was the other guy who does not usually mask, plus some customers who don't, so I didn't.  Then in came a customer who was 'fully compliant'.  I started a conversation with the till man about how stupid it was, that the science showed they're not effective, that ... well, you know ... and the mask zealot deemed it wise to shut up.  Wonder if she'll report me?  Plus the guy at the till and the other customers?

14.  A known known but also some questions

My interest in running that was not the issue itself but two things about CBS - why would they even run this on the MSM ... and why all the hyperbole [see earlier post about capitalisation of words]?

The hyperbole seems to be to kill two birds with one stone - to enrage those already enraged, so that they will make a move and get Tommy Robinsoned, as well as causing those of the I.A. Richardson mentality [see earlier post] to look at all the talk of  'shocking interview' etc. and the exhortation to WATCH [capitals you'll note] ... and to actually turn away.

By the way, the covered one in the picture is at least Covid compliant.

13.  My oops moment today

With YouTube naturally latching onto the fixation with steam trains and sending accordingly, there was an embarrassment of riches and methought - wonder if I could get away with one more shot at Dearieme with a gorgeous steam train on the NYM, with a view to running it tomorrow.

Oops.  It showed the track in the opening, the sound of the choo-choo could be heard, then it came around the bend towards us.  Er ... oh dear ... it was struggling up an incline and let's just say it was not a stem train, it was a black soot train.  Looked at it, thought oops, can't run that, plays right into Dearieme's hands.

Subsequent shots were superlative, camera angles superb, thought I really have to run this for its quality and concede on the soot.

  1. Book Haram can mask up as much as they like but they won't be truly woke until they rape boys in equal measure to girls. What's that you say? Oh they do already do they? That's fine then, they're woke.

More context needed with my links perhaps. The Selectmen were trying to steamroller through their preferred auditors and the Windham County locals were having none of it: want every ballot examined as per Maricopa County. We haven't heard the last of this.

    16. What's in a router?

Routers perform the traffic directing functions on the Internet so it's the IP addresses contained therein that will reveal the truth of what happened.

    1. Not you, Steve. Thought GP was quite poor this time. Usually they do bulleted points.

    18. Just one more for this evening

    Just pulled this from GP:

Rep. Reschenthaler told The Gateway Pundit that he has spoken to a number of his GOP colleagues and if a vote to recall Liz Cheney and replace her with Rep. Elise Stefanik were held today, Stefanik would win by a “significant margin.”

“If a vote to recall Liz Cheney and replace her with Elise Stefanik were held today – Elise would win by a significant margin. I’ve spoken to a number of my colleagues today, and the overwhelming feeling is that Elise is the right choice for GOP Conference Chair,” Rep. Reschenthaler told The Gateway Pundit.

“Elise strongly defended President Trump during the impeachment hearings, she has a brilliant command of the conservative message, and she played a significant role in helping the House GOP retake seats last November despite all the pundits predicting Democrat gains. We need a fresh voice to expose the Biden Administration’s radical policies that hurt working families and endanger our communities, not constantly relitigate the past – Elise will lead us in that direction,” the Pennsylvania lawmaker added.
