Notes: Mixed feelings. On the one hand, there's a virtual flood of young ladies taking up administrative and legislative positions now and I'd suggest their education and their mindsets do not fit them for it. But they're feted by the Woke [easily manipulated] and it really depends who is doing the manipulation. Hopefully it's us, as in this case. But that does not ensure she's not woke in other ways. One thing I detest is hookup culture but no need to go further into that.
As for our own mortality - hey, we're getting to that point now, are we not? This blog started in 2006 and I was no spring chicken then. We've just kept living, no? As the alternative was not as much fun. And as a consequence, we're even past Gen X now - they're becoming the crusties these days, Millennials not far behind. I know a few Millennials and they're feeling distinctly old.

8. Firing squad
Of the three, I think I’d choose this one [from Fox]:
South Carolina is poised to bring back firing squads to its list of execution methods amid a shortage of drugs to carry out lethal injections in an effort to resume capital punishment after a decade.
The state House voted 66-43 Wednesday on legislation that would allow death row inmates to choose between being shot or electrocuted if lethal injection drugs aren't available. The state is one of nine that still use the electric chair and will become the fourth to use firing squads.
The state Senate approved the bill in March. After another routine vote in the House, the bill will head to the desk of Republican Gov. Henry McMaster, who said he will sign it.
7. Damned on one's warning signs
And with this one, I'm not writing of her as a human, as some parents' daughter, I'm thinking more of an SJW, a non-understanding one and yet fully Woke and 'refugees welcome' - you know the whole bleak picture. And if you were the parents or the single mother? Also, as a young man, do you not think nature's warning signs are there as clear as day?
Unfortunate choice by this company methinks. I did watch the ad right through, the footage - did not dispel the above.
Reason I even mention it is I too give off signals many don't like. There's a compassion to a point but there's also, not unlike her I think, this danger signal and you'd not want to get too close, could come back to bite you.
I'd surmise that she could then attract the sort of 'no beg pardons' person who would cut a swathe through her vulnerabilities and make her life hell. We all give out signals, no? My signals definitely clash and people find out they haven't got what they thought they had. I bet she loves small furry animals and birds with broken wings. On humans though - not so sure.
