I don't think those comments are anything to do with single mums but have an lot to do with stupid conflicting Wu-flu isolation instructions and complete lack of teaching children how to think for themselves. These stupid reactions are what happens as the untaught grow up but we have to admit they have become very submissive to authority

Hey girls, don't worry about marriage, or getting a proper job, just go and sleep around as much as you like, as soon as you get pregnant, we will give you a flat and pay you lots of money. That'll set you up for life.
This has been going on for many decades. When my wife was single in the late 70s, and her landlord decided to sell the property, she went to the council to get on the housing list. They told her to go away and get pregnant, otherwise they were not interested.
Thankfully, she was more honourable than they, but it shows how deliberately local authorities set out to destroy morality.
