I do because that's what I remember when I first went to Britain and stayed in a bed and breakfast. Still can't face baked beans in the morning or pretty much anytime actually.
There was a time in San Clemente when I asked my hostess if I might have beans in the morning. she was horrified and served up some Mexican beans. Not exactly my idea of breakfast. So I settled for the juice and fritters.
Ah, baked beans!! Freshly pressed orange or half a grapefruit; porridge - yess! :) -; two or three fried eggs, rashers, baked beans, (at least) three sausages, black pudding; two slices of toast and afterwards four or more slices of homemade brown bread with homemade jam; plus one or two pots of tea - that's a breakfast. Could have it every morning. :)
Well it looks a damn site better than what I had for breakfast anyway.
ReplyDeleteIt's a bigger breakfast than I could eat!
ReplyDeleteIt would be jolly fine without the beans! But I would only need one round of toast ;-)
ReplyDeleteYum. You can come and chef here any time. I'll throw in some kangaroo and emu steaks.
ReplyDeleteLOL.
