Blue shirts. Don't know if they were anything to do with the blue division.
    5. What was the name of Haile Selassie before he was crowned in 1930?

Don't know. I do believe that he insisted on all proceedings and treaties with the British being conducted in ancient Aramaic. He would have got on well with Mel Gibson.

  5. 3/4.

James the Irish contingent that fought on Franco's side in the Spanish Civil War included a large number of blue shirts but it is wrong to say that the Irish contingent was called the blue shirts.

They were known as XV Bandera of the Spanish Foreign Legion or Bandera Irlandesa.

As a fighting force they were as much use as a chocolate teapot, More were killed in a firegight with Canary Islanders frighting for the nationlaists than were killed by the Republicans.
