For what? If it is an end of the world scenario or just for when you are out hiking and get lost?
Anyway. Out hiking. My rucksack would contain. 1) Good knife/Machete 2) Torch/Whistle 3) Matches/Lighter 4) Mobile phone/CB radio (depends where going) 5) Energy bars/drinks 6) Small tent 7) Sleeping bag/Emergency blanket 8) First aid kit 9) Cooking set (Mess tins) and 10) Hot redhead. Not too skinny nor bossy.
1. Knife 2. Matches 3. Warm/wet weather gear 4. Two sleeping bags 5. Emergency rashions 6. Water 7. Back packing tent 8. Cooking tins and utensils etc 9. First aid kit 10. My sense of humour ;-)
I assume you are already taking the usual camping gear in a bergen. Should you lose that: 1. sharp sheath knife 2. empty pipe tobacco tin into which: 3. flint striker and tinder 4. para cord 5. polythene sheet 6. water purifying tabs 7. very basic first aid kit 8. stock cubes 9. boiled sweets
1. lipstick 2. lipsalve 3.sunscreen [even if they're cold hills] 4. comb 5.eye contour cream 6.book 7. another book 8. camera 9. bottle of water 10. spare underwear
Wouldn't bother taking phone as they don't work in the hills - well, mine didn't in the Brecon Beacons anyway - and now you know why I wouldn't survive!
