This is the Merriam Webster definition of a renegade:
1 : a deserter from one faith, cause, or allegiance to another
2 : an individual who rejects lawful or conventional behavior
Are they trying to tell us something?

What's more, the English word comes from the Spanish renegado, which was a term applied to a Christian who had converted to Islam. A curious choice.

A couple of months, I suspect, Jonathan, is not going to be enough. A lot of it is being done behind the scenes, e.g. the SPPNA and the Americans will not even be aware of it.
