Would it have been too much to expect a British TV company like Channel 4 to perhaps show things from a white Christian point of view - being that the Crusaders were white Christians?
I think RO is rather shallow, myself and I think he has his fan base because of his looks as much as anything. But I saw this series on BBC World and it's good.
It’s a rarity to see any balanced historical programming on British TV at all. My wife's personal ranting point is the endless supply of idiotic revisionism requiring overly rosy perspectives on the Moorish occupation of the Iberian peninsular.
One must always remember that the TV exists merely to entertain, education belongs in a by-gone era.
It would be the same PC bilge no matter who was presenting the programme.

Err it hasn't actually been broadcast yet. Perhaps it would be better to rant after actually seeing it
