There are excellent snow conditions very early this year all over Europe. My Mother-in-law tells me there is already snow on the mountains of Asturias and the ski resorts are planning a pre-Christmas opening, something they have not done in over ten years.
The Riviera ski resorts are opening this weekend (actually I think some planned to open last weekend but the blizzards dumping all the new snow meant no one wanted to visit).
Also we had a frost in our garden this morning which is not usual for early December. February yes. December no.
