[marks and spencers] kicking the disabled out

If this is so, it is really not on.

Hookie has posted on the 58 year old disabled woman who dared to use the emergency cord in the toilet at Marks and Spencers:

But the next time she came into the shop in Stockport, Greater Manchester, the manageress handed her a 'trespass order' telling her she was banned from every branch in the country.

In the name of all that is abhorrent, doesn't that just take the biscuit? Right, so that's M&S off my Christmas list. Where did compassion, sense [I shan't call it common], some sort of perspective go? What's going on with people today?

While we're there, how about this one from Hercules?

[A] ban on poppies at full state banquets at Buckingham Palace. Staff said they were told the poignant symbol might offend ambassadors ...

Oh, I've had enough of this. We wear the poppies, we fly the flag, we celebrate Christmas, OK? To hell with the PCers at important times.

  1. There is an increasing feeling of unease among the disabled 'community'... and I don't mean the pillocks who chain themselves to iron railings... that they are not wanted by society in general. Indeed, the general push for legalised euthanasia only emphasises this fear.

The M&S manager who carried out this action, should be considered as an ideal candidate for the job of cattle truck supervisor. Compared to today, the 60's and 70's were enlightened.

  4. So if you have an accident in M&S, do they ban you then?

  7. If there's a chance that anyone might be offended by whatever goes on at Buckingham Palace, might I advise that Edward Stourton isn't invited as "he's a pc" and very easily shocked by truth.
Btw if you feel evil, go into the changing rooms at M&S and after 5 minutes call out in a mournful voice "Excuse me, there's no paper in here."
