[slow boat to oblivion] your seven reservations

Ever thought of sending out the press gang to round up those seven most obnoxious people in your existence? Well, the long boat is at the ready and you can pack them all on board at a most reasonable charge.

Who would your seven include? You can't include known monsters of yesteryear such as Hitler or Idi Amin but modern pains in the butt such as ... oh ... Greer, Shatner, Hilton and so on

Should make interesting reading.

  2. Well currently I've got one whom I inherited from you! Lives in a town beginning with Br!

Welshcakes won't let you put Greer on board.

  3. Nunyaa - yes indeed.

JMB - yes, I've heard some and you're right - she won't. I wanted to put de Beauvoir but didn't get too far with that one either. [Actually, I didn't want, truly.]

  4. I shall keep my choices personal, but there are only four or five.

I could choose lots of politicians but I'll give them a miss.

One person I would have on is Will Self. Any time I've seen him he appears an arrogant intellectually snobbish b******.

  6. James Higham would be one of the seven. The other six probably women. I haven't met a woman yet who hasn't proved to be a pain in the arse so conclude that all women are a pain in the arse; therefore any six would do. Choose six at random but make it quick, I can't bear noisy women and they do make such a fuss about the least discomfort.

  7. William Gruff would be my pick with 6 of the noisiest, man hating,PMSing women I can think of.

  8. Ellee and Calum - yes.

William - thanks you for the kind wishes. :)

    Uber - go for it.

  9. Well only one person springs to mind, the biggest bully ever imaginable. Caused me loads of hassle! which leads me to comparisons... Sadly the current PM seems to work in the same way.

PS: I did quite like William Gruff, but his last comment has made me not quite so sure!!!

  10. 1- Piers Morgan
    2- Yasmin Alibhai Brown
3- The BBC controller responsible for renewing 'Last of the Summer Wine' for the last few decades.
    4- Bob Crow
    5- Edwina Currie
    6- Marcus Brigstock
7- I'd second Calum's nomination of Will Self.

  11. Chris Woodhead comes to mind. Then a load of Italian politicians. Ross has given me an idea and I also nominate the Controller of BBC Prime.
