[yorkshire europe] are we missing something here

John Trenchard has latched onto this - click on each pic below, one by one, to enlarge it:

Excuse me? Yorkshire and Humber Assembly? A funded legislature? And getting its funding from whom? Oh, it's a Regional Assembly - but they all died, didn't they, when the British people fought and rejected them? Click on the pics below to enlarge:

What the F is going on here? As John says:

2010 appears to be a deadline of sorts. And the mention of "Regional Ministers" is interesting. I wonder who'll they'll be reporting to.

  1. From the YHA website "The Yorkshire and Humber Assembly is a partnership of all local authorities in the region and representatives of various economic, social and environmental sectors. 2. Textbook copy of the Soviet.

Back in 2003, I had dealings with a newly recruited head of Yorkshire Forward, - a silver tongued liar.

At the time I was too busy with other things, and basically, apolitical.

My main objection at the time was based on the nonsense economics guiding his decisions. (PR background, otherwise, thick). Nothing made sense in local investment activities, except that local high-street freehold owners, and certain local businesses would benefit enormously. (Many owned/operated by then local councilors).
In retrospect, this was the obvious bung, a cash cow that enabled future progress.

As I say, I was apolitical at the time, and put it all down to endemic local authority corruption, at levels normal at that time.

His first name was a simple four letter old-english name. From my dealings with him, I learned to pronounce it C. *. N. T.

Maybe it was based on a Miss Marples appreciation, or instinct, built up over many years.

Two years later, the council that he was lubricating was prosecuted for fraud in its acquisition of outside contractor services. Well, that's a euphemistic way of putting it. Which bring in a point raised by the article.

Exactly who has oversight of these unelected bstds, and what sanctions do they possess?

The local council where I now reside (flooded with CP) has just entered into a 5 year contract with a foreign based architectural consultancy, for the total re-design of the town centre and the local infrastructure, roads, rails etc, and the construction of 4 massive new "leisure centres", all in labour/high immigrant population areas, while a 1980s leisure centre in a conservative area that previously boomed lies almost dormant for lack of cheap upgrades.

Basically, this is a repeat of the formula I witnessed at the hand of Mr C*NT, in 2003, but on a much, much larger scale.

But that is not the main point to my way of looking.

The local press hailed the achievement of a five year exclusive contract with the foreign architectural consultancy, which would keep out all local (non nominated) subcontrators, and othe design houses as being beneficial. - - no competitive tendering, etc, etc. Right there in the contract with the local authority.

Now that was basically the reason for the prosecution of the original authority back in 2003.

Seems that little legal hiccup may have been sorted by the new non-elected elite.
Conflict of interests, corruption, you say?
Thats how the EU is managed.
    Thats why it exists.

First a quotation from Otto von Bismark, relating to troubles in the US caused by European Bankers formenting the civil war.

The division of the United States into Federations of equal force was decided long before the Civil War by the high financial powers of Europe.
These bankers were afraid that the United States, if they remained as one block, and as one nation, would attain economic and financial independence, which would upset the ambitions of the said bankers, that is their domination of the entire world".

Reflect on that for a moment, in view of the structures we see emerging.
Nothing large enough to challenge central control.
Yes 2010 it the time. Westminster redundant.
    Obedience lubricated by corruption.
Finally, a further quote from Otto von Bismark.
"The death of Lincoln was a disaster for Christendom.
There was no man great enough in the United States to wear his boots.......I fear foreign bankers with their craftiness and tortuous tricks will entirely control the exuberant riches of America, and use it systematically to corrupt modern civilization. They will not hesitate to plunge the whole of Christendom into wars and chaos in order that the earth should become their inheritance.

And is something I've been speaking about for some time. Finally the "professionals" seem to realise the facts. The culprits? Banks! The result, FAR WORSE THAN THESE GUYS PREDICT

Hayek wrote The road to Serfdom, relating to the Soviet. READ IT
Here we have one forming, and we are part of it.

James Garfield, US President fought against the European Bankers. He said
"Whosoever controls the volume of money in any country is absolute master of all industry and commerce.... and when you realise that the entire system is very easily controlled, one way or another, by a few powerful men at the top, you will not have to be told how periods of inflation and depression originate.

Six weeks later on 2nd July, 1881, he was assassinated.
In the Congressional record of 29th April, 1913, a letter is recorded from the head of the American Bankers Association, to all member bank, giving detailed operating instructions for the decimation of the US economy in 3 years time
    It reads--
On September 1st 1894 we will not renew our loans under any circumstances. We will foreclose and become mortgagees in possession. We can take two thirds of the farms west of the Mississippi, and thousands of the farms east of the Mississippi as well, - at our own price...then the farmers will become tenants as in England"

    You have been warned.
Bankers succeeded in the US by bribing congressmen.
Today unelected power-mad idiots are bribing politicians and businesses, and certain individuals, in exactly the same manner, with exactly the same objectives. Control for control sake.
Brown, his entire Cabinet, the majority of Parliament, and politicians past, are all guilty of this monumental crime.
The EU, of its own, and the ECB, will control the money supply.
Brown HAD to create an "Independant Monetary Policy Committee" to comply with the EU gameplane. It was never his decision It will be quietly forgotten in a few years.
    Look at the global economy.
    Look at Sovereign funds.
    Look at new alignments.
    Look at Peak Oil.
Look at the latest proposals coming from think tanks, re Mentors for every school child, cost 100s of millions, and think how Russia and East Germany brainwashed their child populations into subjugation.
    Read the Runes. :)

  3. Um, I think the regional assemblies have been around for a while. The referendum was on whether or not there should be an elected assembly instead.

  4. I think part of the purpose of EU regionalism is to destroy the hard-won unity of Britain, and this is almost the exact opposite of what I mean by disconnecting and survivability.

  5. James,

We have written before about 2010.

It is now officially known in Europe as the beginning of the Post Democratic Era.

  6. James - that long reply from anonymous is potentially libellous.

There are regional assemblies for every area of the UK; only Northern Ireland, London, Scotland and Wales have direct elections.

  7. I've looked at that comment again, Dave, vis a vis RAs and it's strong. The evidence was not in the comment but there is enough in the post to be very worried about the EU hijacking them for their own post-2010 set up.

It would be interesting if an RA did sue because then the info on the EU connection would move into the public sphere - somehting I'm quite sure they do not wish to happen pre-2010.
