[thought for the day] matt sinclair

Accusing people of racism is a bankrupt and small-minded style of argument. It is a witch-hunting discourse that will favour those who don't express themselves, who shut up and then manoevre into positions of power after a career of quiet blandness. It is, in the deepest sense, anti-intellectual. It closes our minds.

  1. Am i small minded when i being white had to be have remarks about my colour and nationality made to me in a public place? I would never racialy abuse someone or make sweeping generilastions about someone because of where they come from.
I classed the people making these remarks to me "racist" what they said not only offended me it upset me greatly.
If i saw the same thing happening to anyone else regardless of their origins i would step in and and stop it from happening.
Sorry for turning this into a bit of a rant, Its just how i feel.
