  3. Yorkshire puddings don't rise in Italian ovens but you could always come over and have some timballo!

  4. mashed potatoes... a travesty.

Why don't they rise in italian ovens WC - too hot?

James, surely all these ingredients can be found at the edge of the know universe that you are currently exploring?

  5. Oh, Ellee, I can't wait. Hang on, my copter's almost ready.

Swearing mother, Welsh - I'm going to do a Sunday Lunch crawl.

CUS - they can but it needs a hand from those fair isles to put it together.

  6. Plus you need the proper grey drizzle of England to make the roast complete.

We have a wide variety of wild berries and chestnuts on our farm,so we have fabulous crumbles. OR would- I hate crumbles AND chestnuts AND berries.
    LOL
We have loads of holly though which is great for Xmas.

  7. I wonder if they actually still do Sunday lunch or has it turned into Sunday dinner as it has here?

  8. You would have been very disappointed here this Sunday; poor kids came home to help build a hen-house on the promise of lunch, but I only gave them parsnip soup, bread, cheese and satsumas. Well, they would have crashed out in front of the TV if I'd given them a roast and not built the hen-house. :-)
