[housekeeping] useless post

Yesterday was my highest day for uniques ever, despite it being a bad day personally. At the same time, it was my lowest number of fellow bloggers visiting since last September, 2006.

Make that one out!

Also, it appears my personal milestone [not traffic by the way] is getting mighty close and might even be this week! Very excited by this - I've just had a peep now but will have to work doubly hard to get over the line.

  1. Personal Milestone - -
3litres of vodka, in one evening with no hang-over?
    5 mile high club?
Buying up the local lap-dancing club?
Performing at the local lap-dancing club?
    Opening your own Casino?
Paying off debts to the local Casino?

Any combination of the above? :)

  2. Is it something awesome like 10,000 blogposts?

Since I de-authored myself I can't tell from the Control Panel.

  3. You should not be so obsessed with your stats, just enjoy what you are doing, you know we always come back.

  4. Eating 20 Hamburgers in one go?

Getting to the pub before it opens?

Staying up all night three days on the trot?

    One million blog readers?

  6. I checked the dashboard too so I know it's not 10,000 posts. A very satisfactory number of visits makes sense but I'm not going to guess how many.
But as Ellee says, enjoy the process. We do come back to read even if we don't always understand.

  9. This is the story about a Conservative MPs attempts to find Gov't coherence in respect of a known terrorist organisation

And this is a serious article describing that terrorist organisation

Ironic, I thought, given that HRH and friends are probably dining, right now, with major human rights abusers, and exporters of terror.

Equally ironic is that the Foreign Office (yes, those idiots again)has cleared dozens of Iranians to enter British universities to study advanced nuclear physics and other subjects with the potential to be applied to weapons of mass destruction.

In the past nine months about 60 Iranians have been admitted to study postgraduate courses deemed “proliferation-sensitive” by the security services. The disciplines range from nuclear physics to some areas of electrical and chemical engineering and microbiology.

    I sometimes wonder......
