UKDP quotes a Tory spokesman about the mystery UKIP member who wasn't:

A loyal member who joined another party. Interesting.
It is possible she is loyal to the principles on which the Conservative Party was founded, in which case I would be more inclined to question the loyalty of some of the leadership.
