[honesty] wolfie apportions the blame

The outgoing president of the World Bank, Paul Wolfowitz, has told the BBC an "overheated" atmosphere at the bank and in the media forced him to resign.

Couldn't really expect:

The outgoing president of the World Bank, Paul Wolfowitz, has told the BBC an "overheated" libido with his honey and his moral relativism and "general sleaziness" forced him to resign.

Yes! He was rammed down the throat of the World Bank in the first place by the Bush administration - because they could. I read in the IHT the U.S. is "suggesting" new candidates.

har-r-r-ak.

He was an idiot not to realise that there was an automatic conflict of interest involved. But there you are...

No, he won't, in answer to your comment question, James. I still hate that woman of his more because in this day and age no woman should allow herself to be "helped" in that way - what century does she think she is living in?

Seems no one really cares what ACTUALLY happened :)

Gracchi: I've commented about this on your site, you even said you didn't know much about the part where he tried to recuse himself, yet you claim he should have known it was a conflict of interest.

He did know.

People like Wolfowitz are the embodiment of arrogance that pervades the upper levels of the current White House. A little humility would go a long way.

"pervades the upper levels of the current White House"

shouldn't that read 'pervades the upper levels of politics, worldwide'?

It's easy to crap on the White House (like they'll even retort) especially with amnesty in the offing, but with so many problems in every country, shouldn't we be crapping on all the politicians? :)
