[senator kerry] remarks might just be the truth

Skull & Bones member, Senator Kerry, told students at Pasadena City College, "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq." Kerry may just be telling the truth: "A very large proportion of today's military is comprised of young people who barely made their way through high school and had nothing close to an educational or career prospect. " That would explain a lot in Iraq and why the insurgency is of the intensity it is.

  1. I don't think the problems with the insurgency are primarily down to the fact that soldiers are not all Harvard MBAs although it is true that the military is predominantly drawn from the Red states (places that are full of inbred, tobacca-chewin' retards, as Michael Moore and other sneering types like to claim.

The truth is that soldiering these days involves a lot of high-tech equipment and the level of training in certain branches of the armed forces, such as to fly a fighter jet or navigate a nuclear sub, would tax the mental powers of most people.

Kerry, as they say, is the gift that keeps on giving. He must be secretly on Karl Rove's payroll.

  2. Isn't that pretty much the same in the UK too, or any other country, unless you train to be an officer?
