[higham outed] his political past
| It's time Higham declared his political bias so that readers know whom they're dealing with. He is a paid up member of the Conservative and Unionist Party but is shunned by them because he is rabidly anti-Cameron, regarding him as Blair Mark II, making Higham well-nigh useless as a party man. He has distinct leanings towards the UKIP and the Libertarians and his politics could be described as a bit right of centre, rabidly anti-EU, anti-Them, anti-Feminazi and pro-Family. At university [as a student], he was a paid up member of the Fabians, then pinkened a bit to become an activist, party member and scrutineer for the Labour Party and shortly after that, felt that bubbly and fun were more important than party politics and so joined the Young Conservatives. The only other parties he has ever been inclined towards included, as a young man, the Pensioner Party in the Australian Senate [holding long discussions with ex-MP Jim Killen on the issue] but the spoil-sport officials would not let him vote, on the pesky technicality that he was not registered. Then, in Russia, he tried to join Yedinaya Rossiya and again was rebuffed on the same technicality although they appreciated his interest. In Sicilia, he helped campaign for the right leaning party Movimento per l'Autonomia Alleanza per il Sud and surprisingly, was not rebuffed on those grounds but on others we needn't go into here. If he were in the U.S.A., he'd attempt to vote for whoever represented the true small c conservatives, ditto in Canada and New Zealand. In France, he supports the UMP but not necessarily Sarko or the woman who doesn't know who the father of her child is. If he were in the U.S.A., he might be termed an Old Conservative. .
